National Lancers Participating in your event

In addition to providing state military service to the Commonwealth as an unit of the active militia, the National Lancers also participate in many events through out the state.

Events that the National Lancers regularly participate in are:

·        City and Town parades

·        Fairs

·        Horse Shows

·        Reenactments

·        Dedications

·        Military ceremonies

The National Lancers do not charge a fee for appearances and services. Since the unit does not receive state funding, we do ask that a donation be made in the National Lancers name to our nonprofit organization. This donation will help pay for some the expenses that we incur maintaining our horses.

Four- horse color guard:  Four riders and horses will attend your event. Troopers will carry two flags and two distinctive lances. Troopers will be dressed in traditional Lancer full dress uniforms.  Requested donation for the Color Guard is $800.00.

Troopers will carry flags and lances and will wear the traditional Lancer full dress uniform. This is the most popular request that we receive for parades.
