Membership in Troop A
The final step to becoming a Lancer is to graduate from Troop B to Troop A. This is the ultimate
goal of all lancer members. Upon completion of the year-long Troop B certification training program, the graduate is granted full Lancer privileges and authorized to wear the
"Full Dress" Lancer uniform at all future Lancer events.
A formal full dress Lancer celebration and musical ride is held for the newly qualified Troop A member(s).
All of the privileges of an A trooper are granted including:
Unlimited riding
Participation in all mounted events including
parades, celebrations and official functions
Attaining a respected leadership and mentor position for new members
As with all Troop A members, the newly
qualified trooper must continue to honor the goals and traditions of the National Lancers henceforth.
