With a prestigious
150 year history, the National Lancers of today hold many of the same
values and traditions that have enabled the troop to aspire to the level
that it has over its many years of existence. The Lancers have been in
many campaigns representing both the Commonwealth and the Union and have
developed a high sense of duty, courage and honor throughout their endeavors.
These ideals, bound by integrity, have been woven into the modern-day
Lancer.
The troop is based in Framingham, Massachusetts where they participate
in an active training schedule. Weekly muster is held on the main parade
field to support the many parades, ceremonies, lance drills, and honor
guard performances that the troop participates in throughout the Commonwealth.
